1. Will the session be recorded and be available after live class?
No, we’re not permitted to record or circulate any Course videos. Please attend the live classes to ensure a consistent and coherent learning experience. We will share the brief notes for all lectures and PDF of class slides as shared by Prof. David.
2. How important is attendance?
It's very essential that you attend all classes to have a comprehensive understanding of the course. Furthermore, you need to have at least 60% attendance to be eligible for a certificate.
3. What are the knowledge prerequisites?
There are no specific prerequisites for this course and it is open for all who are interested in SCM. Knowledge of business, operations and statistics would be helpful.
4. What are the class timings?
16th Jan ’21 – 21st March ’21, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM IST || Saturday - Sunday
5. What do I do, if I’m unable to attend certain classes for some reason?
In case you miss a class or two, please do not worry, we have all the session’s PPTs and supporting materials and we will be emailing them to you promptly after each lecture.
6. What would be the value of the Certificate? Will it generate enough value in the industry?
The certificate will be jointly signed by Prof. Manoj K Tiwari - Director, NITIE and Prof. David Simchi-Levi. Both are stalwarts and the certificate is issued by NITIE Mumbai. All are well known brand names in the industry for Supply Chain Management.
